What is CININTIRIKS?
CININTIRIKS™ is a direct, AI-powered marketplace for Canada. Buyers and sellers connect directly — we don’t handle shipping or payments between users. Listings can be free or upgraded to paid tiers for longer visibility.
How do I create an account?
Click LOG INCREATE ACCOUNT. Enter your name, email, password, and phone number. You’ll receive an email code to verify your address. After that, you can post listings and contact sellers.
Do I need to be in Canada to use CININTIRIKS?
Yes. CININTIRIKS is a Canada-only marketplace and listings must be for items located in Canada. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
Listings
How do I post a listing?
Click POST FREE in the top nav. Add a title, description, price, photo, and location. Pick a tier (Standard, Extended, or Inverted) and submit. New listings go through a quick moderator review before going live.
What are the listing tiers?
  • Standard (Free): 30-day lifecycle, white card. Up to 2 free listings per account.
  • Extended — CAD $20.00: 45-day lifecycle, white card.
  • Inverted / Promoted — CAD $40.00: 60-day lifecycle, premium black card with priority placement in the feed.
What are the listing add-ons?
  • Urgent Badge — CAD $1.00: Adds a bold "URGENT" badge to your listing card on the browse feed to capture buyer attention immediately and make your post stand out.
  • Shop Icon — CAD $3.00: Displays a shop icon next to your listing price. This signals to buyers that your post represents a storefront rather than an individual seller.
  • Website Link — CAD $5.00: Adds a prominent "VISIT WEBSITE" button on your listing's detail page, directing buyers straight to your online store or product landing page. Available for both free and paid tiers.
  • 7-Day Auto-Bump — CAD $10.00: Instantly pushes your listing back to the top of the browse feed and displays a gray "BUMPED" badge on your private dashboard card for 7 full days to help you track your active promotion.
What happens after my listing expires?
Listings are automatically hidden once they reach their visibility window (30 / 45 / 60 days). You then have a 14-day grace period to restore them by paying for a new tier from your dashboard. After the grace period, the listing and its photo are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
How does the AI search work?
Our search understands natural language — you can type "dining table under $500 in Toronto" and get relevant results even if the words aren’t in the title. Behind the scenes, your query is sent to Google’s Gemini model along with our anonymized listing index.
Why was my listing rejected?
Every listing is reviewed by a moderator before going live. If it’s rejected you’ll receive an email explaining why — usually because of a prohibited item, missing information, or an unclear photo. You can edit and resubmit at any time.
Account
How do I update my profile or address?
Go to Dashboard → Account Settings. Edit your name, address, city, province, and postal code, then click Save Profile.
How do I change my password?
Dashboard → Account Settings → Change Password. Enter your current password and your new password (minimum 8 characters), then click Update Password.
I forgot my password — how do I reset it?
Click LOG INForgot Your Password? Enter your email and we’ll send a 6-digit reset code. Use it to set a new password.
How do I delete my account?
Email contact@cinintiriks.ca from the address on your account. We’ll permanently delete your profile and all associated listings within 30 days. Stripe invoice records are retained for 7 years (tax law).
Payments & invoices
How are payments processed?
All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor. CININTIRIKS never sees or stores your credit card details. Your card is charged only when you upgrade a listing to a paid tier.
Where can I see my invoices?
Dashboard → INVOICES tab. You’ll see every payment with its date, amount, status, and links to view the Stripe-hosted invoice and PDF. We also email you a copy after each successful payment.
Can I get a refund on a paid tier?
Paid tier fees are non-refundable once the listing is published. We may issue refunds at our discretion in specific cases (technical failure, moderation error, duplicate charge). Email contact@cinintiriks.ca with your invoice ID within 30 days.
Safety
How do I contact a seller?
On any listing detail page, click REVEAL PHONE NUMBER. You must be logged in to see seller contact details — this prevents bots from scraping users’ phone numbers.
How do I report a suspicious listing?
Email contact@cinintiriks.ca with the listing URL and a brief description of the issue. Our team reviews every report.
What payment methods are safe?
For peer-to-peer transactions we recommend cash or Interac e-Transfer, exchanged in person after inspecting the item. Never send money before meeting. See the full Safety Tips page for details.
